South Ashford Community Forum (SACF) in common with other community forums, is currently preparing a submission for Stage One of the Community Governance Review being undertaken by Ashford Borough Council (ABC).
The submission will comprise proposals for a new Community Council to serve South Ashford.
After we have submitted our suggestions, ABC will review them then publish their draft proposal for consultation with stakeholders and the public.
If you have not already done so, we urge you to sign and return the petition sent to all households in South Ashford, to help to ensure that ABC include the option of a Community Council for South Ashford in their draft proposal. If you have not received or have mislaid your petition form, please download one from our Community Councils page.
It may be 15 years before the opportunity arises again.
