    Seen a look of negativity about this, but I think it’s a great plan. Finally, a central cinema that doesn’t require film fans to leave the town via the M20… 🙂

      To clarify, this is an outline application for Phase 2 of the proposed development, comprising mainly residential. The cinema is part of Phase 1. The Council have made the decision to Permit Phase 1 (refer to the links at the end of our original post). A decision is yet to be made on Phase 2.

      The article in last week’s Kentish Express on the expansion of Cineworld’s Eureka cinema states that Cineworld will be taking on the Elwick Place Cinema under their boutique cinema branding ‘Picture House’.
